Do The #Meccarena With Mecca Bingo

Wednesday, Jan. 17th 2018 7:45 AM

Unless you’re someone who watches very little television, the chances are you will have already seen the new marketing campaign from Mecca Bingo. Even if you don’t watch TV but the family do, you may have heard the tune of the advert at least and it’s one that you’ll remember if you are of a certain age. It was back in 1994 that Los Del Rio released the Macarena, an iconic song with it’s very own dance moves.

That song has now become the theme song for Mecca Bingo but it has been parodied and is now called the #Meccarena. The dance moves remain very similar, it’s simply the words of the song that have changed.

Free £5 From Game Village Bingo

Wednesday, Apr. 22nd 2015 7:10 AM

When a bingo brand launches an offline marketing campaign, especially when it is television advertising, more often than not they will change their welcome bonus to include a no deposit required bonus. It’s only sensible when you have invested money in advertising to make your welcome offer more appealing and that is what Game Village Bingo have done. If we’re honest, they certainly need to do something because the advert is REALLY bad.

If you are a new player to Game Village Bingo then you are eligible for the £5 no deposit required bonus just for signing up to play. Whilst you cannot withdraw any winnings with first making a deposit, the free money gives you the opportunity to try before you buy…

NONONO For 888Ladies Commercial

Wednesday, Dec. 4th 2013 7:12 AM

888Ladies have advertised their brand intermittently on the small screen with the most famous of their commercials featuring Vic Reeves. This was then followed by a selection of adverts that really seemed to disconnect with the player before we then saw the site bring back Vic.

The new 888Ladies commercial starts with green paper unfolding over a pile of coins, the paper unfolds to reveal the shape of the United Kingdom. As is does so the voiceover tells the viewer ‘At 888Ladies it is you that makes our bingo great’ as several different photos are pinned to the map. The background music is a song from NONONO and called Pumpin Blood.

Vinnie Jones Stars in Bingo Commercial

Wednesday, May. 22nd 2013 7:10 AM

If you had to think about which celebrity you would be most shocked to see starring in a bingo commercial who would you say it would be? For the team here at Bingo Codes we hadn’t really thought about it before seeing the Daily Star Bingo commercial but finding Vinnie Jones as the star, instantly we thought of him as the least likely bingo celebrity.

Although strictly speaking offering games as well as bingo, Daily Star Games have scored quite a coup with Vinnie Jones and the marketing is impressive. The obligatory women do not appear although there are a few bingo balls and a laptop – two of the key ingredient used in online bingo advertising.

New Advert Coming Soon For Wink Bingo

Wednesday, Mar. 13th 2013 7:56 AM

We read an interesting snippet the other day about Wink Bingo and the Dream Idols, a collaboration that we recently saw come together for a promotion from the brand. It would appear that the scantily clad lads are set to become the face of the brand as they work to maintain their ‘cheeky and flirty’ reputation for their bingo site. A new advert is soon set to air on the small screen for Wink Bingo and Tommy, Ollie, Billy, Lorenz and Lewis are to be the stars.

The Dream Idols are a fairly new glamour group, they only formed last year and have already enjoyed massive success with the launch of the Magic Mike movie. However, the Wink Bingo endorsement is not the groups first interaction with bingo as previously they were sponsored by Boyle.

New Ladbrokes Bingo Ad Boasts New Bonuses

Saturday, Jan. 26th 2013 7:50 AM

It seems to be the season for new bingo ads, as several of our favourite sites have launched brand new commercials. One of these is Ladbrokes Bingo who launched a new ad this week to tell players about some of the welcome bonuses available. We love bingo adverts and some of them are fairly inventive, but we were fairly disappointed with this latest offering from Ladbrokes Bingo. Unfortunately they must have given the creative team the day off as the advert is a rerun of an ad they used in 2008.

The ‘new’ Ladbrokes advert features sphering, the extreme sport of rolling down a hill in an inflated ball, but these bingo balls are rolling around the city streets, taking the players inside on the ride of their lives.

Saturday, Jan. 19th 2013 7:23 AM

If you’ve seen Foxy Bingo’s brand new television ad this week then you’ll have heard all about the Prize Bus! As the advert shows, Foxy has been picking up players around the country and now they have the chance to win a whole host of real cash prizes, bonus points and other points when they head to Foxy Bingo.

The advert shows Foxy, travelling around the country on a vintage coach and urges payers to head to the website and climb aboard the Foxy Bingo Prize Bus, so we headed over there to see what all the fuss is about.

Surfin’ Bird And William Hill Bingo

Sunday, Oct. 28th 2012 5:36 PM

We are seeing a number of online bingo brands advertising their products on television at the moment, some of whom have created new marketing campaigns whilst others have just rehashed an old advert with a new welcome offer for players. William Hill Bingo have gone with the former, a brand new marketing campaign and we quite like it simply for the music used!

The Trashmen’s 1963 Billboard hit, Surfin’ Bird, is the theme tune used for the new William Hill Bingo commercial and it definitely has you chair dancing when it appears on the screen. To go with the new look advertising is a new slogan – ‘ Everybody Loves A Flutter’. However the actually story board for the advert is predictable to say the least in it’s use of women.
